Samsung's 2020 8K FUHD TV Line Up

Samsung have now launched their new 2020 8K QLED TVs and here is a run down of what you can expect from these premium FUHD screens.

At the top of the range sits the Samsung Q950TS which is available with 65, 75” and a huge 85” screen, while the next model down the Q900T can be bought in either 65” or 75”.

Both screens are pretty similar in spec with the key difference being that only the Q950TS models feature the One Connect Box.

All screens in the Q950TS and Q900T ranges feature Quantum (High Dynamic Range) HDR 4000 / 3000 powered by HDR10+ giving you an ultra bright image without sacrificing shadow detail in darker scenes.

Object Tracking Sound+ (OTS+) takes advantage of 8 dedicated speakers – including side-firing and up-firing speakers to take advantage of content with Dolby Atmos or give standard sound a more 3 dimensional feel.


Q-Symphony technology takes the audio experience one step further by synchronizing your TV’s up-firing speakers together with a compatible soundbar’s speakers to deliver immersive sound simultaneously from both devices.

The new Infinity Screen is exclusive to the Q950TS and Q950T TVs offering edge to edge viewing with a near bezel less display.
Direct Full Array controls the TVs LED backlight giving much better contrast and dark inky blacks allowing images to appear more life like.

Moving a level down from the Q950TS and Q900T sits the Samsung Q800T which features the same 8K AI upscaling Quantum processor and immersive sound thanks to the OST+ technology, you lose the Infinity Display but Samsung's gorgeous Boundless Design screen takes its place.

The Q800T also features Samsung’s Quantum (High Dynamic Range) HDR 2000 powered by HDR10+ for stunning bright images.

Bixby, Alexa and Google Assistant are all available and built into all of Samsung’s 2020 8K models, along with Apple’s Airplay 2 for easy screen sharing from a compatible Apple device.
